Touring the cellar is an excellent opportunity to get familiar with the Brunello di Montalcino region and Molino di Sant’Antimo wines. You will be accompanied through the production process during the tour.

The wine experience ends with a guided tasting of three different estate wines, including Rosso di Montalcino and Brunello di Montalcino.

During the wine tasting, which will be accompanied by typical Tuscan snacks, you can admire the incredible view from our tasting room overlooking the vineyards.

At Molino di Sant’Antimo, we have chosen to bring the two together.

Convivio is a lunch in our home, among the vineyards of Montalcino, around a shared table with people who may be complete strangers at first.

Because we believe wine is also this: a natural way to meet, exchange stories and share a moment. 

The experience takes place in our historic farmhouse, surrounded by vineyards and the wilder landscape of southern Montalcino. From the dining room, you can look out across the landscape that surrounds us: the rows of vines, the hills, the olive trees and the land that has been part of our family for generations. Here, there are no separate tables for each reservation.

There is one table. 

One large table, set to welcome all our guests together. You may find yourself sitting beside a couple who have travelled from the other side of the world, a family exploring Tuscany or someone who, just like you, has chosen to spend a day in Montalcino. We do not know who you will meet. And that is precisely the beauty of it. Because around a table, with a good glass of wine in front of you, it is surprisingly easy to feel part of the same moment.

Convivio is more than a lunch. It is the opportunity to spend a few hours with people you did not know before. To discover that you may have travelled halfway around the world to reach Montalcino, only to find yourselves sitting at the same table. And to leave Molino di Sant’Antimo with something more than a bottle of wine: a shared memory.

Wines in tasting: Gina 100% Sangiovese Rosato, Rosso di Montalcino DOC, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 

This wine selection is thought as an introduction to our wine making history.

Rosso and Brunello are the core wines at Molino. Gina is a special wine: an all-Tuscan wine but with French soul!

This experience includes the cellar tour, a barrel-guided tasting ( a future Brunello di Montalcino ) and a 4 courses lunch.

Wines in tasting: Rosso di Montalcino DOC, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Brunello di Montalcino Varco84. To end the tasting you will try one of the following wines according to what we think would be better suited with your lunch: Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG – if available, Olinto Sant’Antimo DOC 100% Canaiolo or Romito Terre Vittori IGT ( 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 20% Sangiovese)

Origin pays tribute to our Riserva which is the highest expression of Brunello, our 100% Canaiolo wine, which is made with an indigenous grape, very rare to find pure. It is also wants to celebrate our “Supertuscan” – this is our family wine and its produced following the tradition.

The experience culminates with lunch served in the private residence of the Vittori family, offering guests the rare privilege of stepping into the heart of their home and traditions. For those who wish, there is also the opportunity to share the table with the Vittori family, enjoying genuine conversation, family stories, and the warm hospitality that has always been at the heart of Italian culture.

Born and bred Montalcinese chef Giacomo will teach you the basics of the Montalcinese/Tuscan cuisine.

The result of your efforts will be paired with our wines which will be served by him during lunch.

We only organize this activity for a small group, everyone will be taken care of by the chef and will be followed step by step during the process of learning, cooking and tasting.
